rever + lay bare

earlier i had my hair cut and my eyebrows threaded. as per my experience, i thought of sharing it to the my madlang readers, if i have any. lol. david's for rever @ megamall i'm currently in the look for a new salon to knock out my current preference, so i tried david's for rever. FYI, david's for rever are company owned while those ala mushroom sprouting anywhere david's salon are franchises. so what's the point? haha. going to the cut of my current life - the service was ok, shampooed for like 10minutes, the stylist was kinda snobbish but she knew what to do, she asked me what i wanted, and i got a good result. She was one of the salon's senior stylist. Thanks ms. Liza! the price of my cut, P340, more expensive than my staple salon fix @ 250 and previously tried vivere @300, plus the tip, all in all, it cost me 400. :P i'm so amazed with the schwarzkopf powder wax they applied on my hair. :) i'm dying to buy my own, but it's kinda pricey as in. (P1150) sponsors? Lay Bare @ megamall I've been itching to try this and at last! success! I like my new brows, it's neat and clean without any obvious hint that i had it done. kinda cheap = P100 and considering the fact that it's their specialty, trust me you're in good hands. I never knew it would hurt that much, so piece of advice, be ready for pain. general anesthetic kaya? lol. Like, 3 teardrops went out of my eyes, 2 on the left and one on the right. haha Overall a good experience. As for David's, coming back is yet to be known. and for Lay Bare, see you after a month. :P

Integration Period

This is how they do it in my new school...

Meaning, we have no classes the week before the examination week! I love it!
I guess this iis how they do it here, and I'm pretty sure that's the way I want it to be. :) i feel loved! hahahaha
Previous school of mine, beat that! hehe. (I miss the ala spartan training though...)

We're No. 2

Congratulations to Purple Phoenix for bagging the second place for June's race for the team of the month. Something tells me that we couldn't be happier with this feat! Am I right?

We aimed for third but we landed on the second spot! Totally unexpected! :) It was overall a good team effort. :)

Kudos to all of us for getting the highest monitoring scores at 98.02% and for all our efforts to maintain our good attendance stats!

CONGRATS to Doc Obet for being No. 1 agent for June! :)

So what do we reap from it? Nothing material, just pure intangible altruistic feeling! Plus pride and some sort of bragging rights? :) (Sana kasi may kahit 1 buyback per member diba!!!) hehe

We're No. 2!!! Well, whoever said we couldn't now's left dumbfounded. :P

P.S. Chuva bakit wala ako sa perfect attendance?

FFF

Why do you have to be so cocky and all?! Why do you have to boast your mediocrity over and over?! Why are you so full of yourself?! Why? Why? Why?

Ok Ms. smarty pants, hotdogging's over.

Move and get out of the way, FFF's are here.

Fine (Arsei), Fresh (Ayn), Fierce (Ronli) :)

You're not part of my world neither are your friends. You just wait and see, you're about to be dethroned... Bwahahahaha.

recit overheard...

yesterday in one of my classes, a classmate was called up for recit, and I overheard this...

Prof: Give me an example of an offense by a public official in the exercise of his function.

Student: Malversation of public funds sir.

P: Ok. then define malversation.

S: Sir, theft nalang, sige na.

Haha, natuwa lang ako... :P

Well, that's the sunday i had, i mean, we had... no more, no less...

The recent Sunday was like one of the most action packed day I've had for this year. MILO MARATHON - FOOD WALKATHON - I'M RUNNING LATE BUT I GOTTA SLEEP DRAMA - TEAM BUILDING PREPS AND PROPER - "NOMO" BLUES - SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE MODE

All in one day. Tiring but fun. Positively stressed.

It all started with my first ever 5k marathon at luneta to quirino grandstand. Fashionably late was roxy and I, everybody left but there we were, just starting to take on the track. I never stopped running, did I? well, a couple of mins. maybe, but one feat I achieved was my personal best time for 5k at roughly 36mins from a previous 46mins. It's my first actual run you know. kudos to us - Ms. nadz, stan, roxy, sexy zee, david, francis, paula, neil and eph, til next time. Not one notch higher though, let's just stick with 5k first. lol.

Eric Onquit! I was expecting to see you, but then, nah, never mind. with that sea of people, nako, like needle searching in a haystack.

The search for good food after a good run was far more challenging. From jollibee to greenwich to chow king to mcdo to delifrance to turo turo to hapchan. We just can't decide where to eat. Ending, GREENWICH Rob Ermita. It was a good 3k walk you know. haha.

I remember me laughing at this...

"Gutom na talaga ko, kaya ko na kumain ng chicken na kasing laki ni roxy" - ron
"Wow, edi wala yung chicken breast, rib part lang." - stan
Peace roxy! let's just make the good memories count.

Homeward bound after the run was so not easy. My eyes were then heavier than my gym weights. My body's just on a silent protest, R-E-S-T! And so I did, for like 15MINS!!! As I had to go to the office for team building preps.

Grocery! I love. Except dialing. Lol. Ejay, good move when we bought that chunk of meat instead of the pre-cut. Taking it from your EJAYISTIC philosophies, "It's a good buy". And for the 15 piece death row chips variety that we bought, who needs to strip off weight? lol. Plus, the bar, the bar, the bar, lagi nalang the bar.

Poll Question:
Which is the better hotdog:
a. Bibbo Hotdog
b. Purefoods Tender juicy
c. Purefoods beefies

May the best price win?

Who could forget the immortal line, "mas ok na yung sobra kesa kulang". No one will ever forget our previous hunger-filled swim escapade. Real life lessons are lessons really learned? makes sense?

The trail to Paraiso was never easy, imagine sitting for like an hour on a bumpy fx. grrrr. Good thing tl chuva has good taste in music, ROCK! :P nice songs btw.

Alas! we're in! So, what to now? Chill. Anyone seen LOCALS? Lol. @ convergays, you know what I mean. haha.

Team building ala Purple phoenix is never just the usual team building, it's never ordinary. From start to finish, BLAST BLAST BLAST.

Well, kicking things off, singing galore. The "chuva" videoke did not seem tired at all. (Why Chuva Videoke? Halos lahat kasi ng scores niya, 100). The "pacham" adobo was for me a 8 out of 10. Good work team tomczai.

This one's an absolute winner, courtesy of Tom,
(Scene, Matty just finished eating, stood up and was staring at chuva and me ata while eating, biglang hirit si Tom)

"Oy, tapos na kame kumain o."

Tama bang gawin "waitress" si matty? Like we never stopped laughing for like 3 minutes. (I'm now guilty of overusing the word, "like") Seriously, that highlighted the night and even extended the fun unitil the wee morning hours.

BLIND ITEM PORTION - Warning! What's spoken stays unspoken. Let's all hold our horses and keep our mouths shut. Haha. Sino kasi sila? :P This one's super fun!
Remember, when faced with a challenging question, "i-i-inom ko nalang". :P

The night was later on filled with more crazy antics from all of us, ang tweety and note ni ejay, czai's poolside poses, ron-steve-tom love triangle?, chuva's coma sleeping mode, mother joby's adiction to iphone and that game, bading ba si ganito ganyan portion, the ms. gay lotto that I missed out, and so much more. If only we caught it all on tape. :P

The next morning... morning... morning... all bags packed, big smiles, big eyebags, big hangovers...

I thought we'd just end on a rather flat note, you know, leaving towards home, parting ways, but I was so wrong. With this Tom antic, laughter was just as it is, the best medicine...

"ngayon ko lang narinig ung kanta na yun, at pitong beses ko pa narinig ah." - tom
(speaking of COOL WITH YOU by Jennifer Love Hewitt)

Plus, this witty matty breaker,

"ring... ring... ring..."
"hello?, hello?... andito pa ako sa bundok..."
*after 15secs max chat chat chat
"ay, miscall pala...

And of course the Big Bang, Tom and matty's blunder inside the van. Kasi tom, mali ung target mo. Si czai?! hehehe.

i ought to end this. too long. wala ng nagbasa...

Well, that's the sunday i had, i mean, we had... no more, no less...

3rd of July

July has just started and I couldn't be more content with all that's happened for the opening portion of this month.

For this day though, it was a mix of mishaps and pomp.

I was running late for my class. And there I was, fashionably late. haha. pesky snooze. I'm never pro 8am classes!!! After signing the class card and submitting it, just a few moments after i sat down, viola, "VILLA", i'm up for recit. Center isle please! why o why sir? have you no heart? "Recite the Lawyer's Oath." Omg, why that? all seven out of eight topics i have brilliantly studied but one.... Next time, don't cut corners, remember the OATH! I was so pissed for like an hour or two. Good thing, we love (arsei and ayn), borderline ariel rivera minus the grammar. lol.

It's never sad to see old friends. Never ever! Meeting with Luci, Les and Ekai in re yearbook (strawberry belgian waffles=divine) plus Cams and Boss Maike, lunch at a veneto (loving the pizza and pasta), tour plans (luci, i envy your batanes trip. ekai, singapore!!!), and everything else makes it nothing but just plain good time.

No pain, no gain! That's what I'm burying in my coconut while i pump out weights at the gym and work off my soon to be beach body. lol. i have to, my pants don't fit me anymore. :P sexy rona! thanks for being so nice.

Serena Williams vs Vera Zvonareva for Wimbledon ladies' finals. rooting for vera! Maica, berdych vs nadal tomorrow, go berdych! I'm so amazed with your love for tennis. fan tayo dalawa talaga. Saturday is hair day! see you!

so that's it for this day, 3rd of July.
