1st day high

It's been a while since i last posted an entry for this particular blog. Well, what do i have to offer this time. hmm, perhaps i'll let the whole world know how my first day at law school worked.

Btw, i went out just and looked for an internet cafe cause our connection at home's crappy...asar!!!

I choose red as my font color to represent the flagship color of SBC, San Beda College, Red Lions. Although, i'm still a dedicated fighting maroon.

So, my first day at law school was oh so nerve wracking, in the sense that i am not fully aware of what will happen to me!!! I really am. Lots of people look really smart and made me feel intimidated. But i didn't let this get in my way, there i went with all confidence and belief that i will pull this off and guess what i survived a day in my life as a law student.

Arriving 3 hours before my scheduled class was really strange, for i am a fan of tardiness.lol. The reason is that i need to somehow familiarize myself with the subject matter of my first class, that is - persons and family relations. Whew!!! believe me this subject is not as easy as it may seem. A whooping 5 unit class, it can make or break me. As i opened the book, i noticed the minuteness of the text. OMG, i think it'll take like forever until i finish reading the civil code. For 2 hours i did non-stop reading and to my surprise i ended up in Article 7 of the civil code, that is around page 15. I never knew that understanding the law will consume that much time.

After reading, dehydrated, i grabbed something to drink and eventually made my way to my classroom. 13-C, my room for the rest of the semester.

Getting there was easy, staying was rather really difficult. i got in at around 15 minutes before the time of my first class, and yes, my blockmates were already there. Smiles from the lasalistas headed by our beadle, Dianne and followed by all the LM majors, came my way. As pressumed by most of my new friends, i am the friendly and cool type, so without any hesitation i smiled back. Next was Yay and Allan, Yay is the mom figure of our batch, a full fledged doctor and a dedicated law student. She's intimidating at first but she really is nice. Allan, is the hunk and modelly type of guy, gifted with the smile that could melt anyone's heart. To my surprise, he greeted me, in an araneta concert way of greeting, that is really loud and catchy. I replied back and sat beside him, well a good three feet away from him. While sitting, i saw migs reading the required book and for the nth time, butterflies in my stomach went flying on again, along with dragonflies, fireflies and everything that flies.

Moving on, our room started to fill up and people nervous as they may seem, sat and waited for our first ever law subject, persons and family relations. Everyone started to wish that the professor would not make it. And thank God, our prayers were answered. Up until legal profession, the professor did not show up, not even his/her aura crept in.

During the course of our breathtaking wait, we all started to loosen up and shared each others' lives. We were all fooling around and laughing. I never knew that law school would this be fun. At least for now we are giggling and just having a great time. 1K thanks for sharing your life, thanks for being a new family, and promise we'll be all there till the end.

*I'll update this entry, but the updated entry will be posted in my multiply account*
