Wimbledon Day 5

Here are some of the scheduled games for day 5 of Wimbledon. (starts 7pm star sports)
Feeling tennis expert naman ako, I'll try my luck on predicting who will come out victorious based on their head-to-head records from atp and wta websites.

Federer vs Clement
7-3

Age wise, Clement's older ergo advantage for Federer.
Last time Clement won over Federer was in 2001. All of Clement's wins were over hard courts.
They only had one meeting in a grass court (2004), Federer won quite easily, 6-3, 7-5.

Prediction: Federer in 3 sets.

Monfils vs. Hewitt
2-1

Height: Monfils' is taller, ergo his advantage in serving and reaching wide balls.
Experience: Hewitt has been triumphant in Wimbledon, having one title in his gallery ought to boost him up. Plus his earlier win this year over Federer in the grass courts of Halle.
They never met in any grass court tournament, and Hewitt being more efficient in grass courts, i guess, may snatch a victory over Monfils.

Prediction: Hewitt in 4 sets.

Montanes vs. Djokovic
0-3

Nothing much to say. With youth, rankings and wins being on djokovic side, Montanes could only hope for a miracle to win over Nole.

Prediction: Nole in 3 sets.

Kohlschreiber vs. Roddick
1-2

2003 St. Poelten Open: Clay: W Roddick
2005 Aussie Open: Hard: Roddick
2008 Aussie Open: Hard: Kohlschreiber

I believe Roddick will cruise along this match. He obviously is very much comfortable in Wimbledon's grass courts. His being thrice runner-up would speak for his capacity in grass. Kohlschreiber will have to dig deep though.

Prediction: Roddick in 4 sets.

Henin vs. Petrova
13-2

Both veterans and of the same age.
Justine has won over Nadia on grass court only once. Despite the 13 wins over nadia, I think she'll have a tough time beating out power hitter and fast server petrova. Justine never won Wimbledon, maybe this time, she will... or not...

Prediction: Justine in 3 sets

Kleybanova vs. Venus Williams
1-1

Kleybanova winning over venus 2009 Madrid Clay
Venus winning over Alisa 2008 Wimbledon
Wimbledon is Venus' territory. It's unlikely that someone like Alisa K. would knock her out this early. Venus, regarded as one of the best grass players of her era, may prove to be too strong for Alisa.

Prediction: Venus in 2 sets.

Clijsters vs. Kirilenko
2-0

Multi-awarded Kim will not exert much effort in winning this match over Maria. The age gap being 4 years only, not much of a problem for comeback queen Kim. Kim never won Wimbledon, maybe this time, maybe.

Prediction: Clijsters in 2 sets.

If my predictions turns out to be right,

Kim will meet Justine in the fourth round.
Djokovic will meet Hewitt in the fourth round.

P.S. So happy Isner won over Mahut, 70-68. :) Maria through to the next round.
